East Point Group of Institutions, located in East Bangalore is a premier group offering quality education in varied disciplines of Humanities, arts, Science, Health Sciences, Pharma Sciences, Medical Sciences and Higher Education. Founded in 1998 under the logo of MG Charitable Trust, the Group is committed to promote social, cultural and educational aspirations of all the sectors of the society.
It was a humble beginning in the premises of the Trust located in KalyanNgar of East Bangalore with a Primary School Class One batch of 16 kids drawn from the local communities. Within a very short period the School became full-fledged with an intake of around…..2000 students The Group initiated East Point College of Engineering and Technology in 1998 at Bidarahalli, Virgo Nagar, Bangalore under the affiliation of Visvesvaraya Technological University and approval of AICTE, Belgaum. Courses are recognized by Government of Karnataka. Barron land of around 90 acres was transformed in to a lush green admirable academic campus with in a period of two years. State of the art structures, roads, Electricity connections, water and all other amenities were created afresh. The locality around the Institution became a hub of countless activities bringing up a new economic zone in East Bangalore supporting thousands of individuals and families. Presently over 5000 students are pursuing their Technical education in various streams of BE, M. Tech. and PhD.
The group initiated East Point College of Higher Education in 1995 under the affiliation of Bangalore University with the approval of AICTE and UGC. Courses are recognized by Government of Karnataka. Presently over 1500 students are pursuing their Higher Education Goals in the institution under various Commerce and management Streams.
East Point College of Pharmacy was started in 1993 under the affiliation of Rajiv Gandhi Health University, Bangalore. Courses are recognized by Government of Karnataka. Presently over 600 students are persuing their Pharma Education in this institution.
East Point College of Medical Sciences and Research is a new addition to the crown of the Group. In fact is the pride of the locality. Founded in 2014 with a Modern Hospital of 700 beds has unmatching facilities in the region. The Hospital is catering to the health needs of thousands of people residing over a distance of around 100 kms. After completion of three years of successful incorporation, East Point Medical College has started functioning under affiliation of Rajiv Gandhi Health University with the approval of Medical Council of India. Fresh admission of 150 students has been done and future Doctors are sculpturing their future in East Point Campus.
