M.Sc. Nursing

M.Sc. Nursing is a course that involves the study of nursing education and research. Every medical/ hospital unit requires the assistance of a Nurse. B.Sc. (Nursing)

Bachelor of Science in Nursing or B.Sc Nursing is a 4-year undergraduate course, the minimum eligibility criterion for which is the successful completion of 10+2 level of education in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (P.B.B.Sc.)

The INC (Indian Nursing Council) is the authorized body that governs all aspects of nursing education in India. The course follows the syllabus prescribed by the INC.

Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (P.B.B.Sc.) is a 2- year undergraduate program pursued for candidates interested in the field of Nursing. Nurses are healthcare professionals who are trained in taking care of patients, treating them, and assisting doctors in treatment and surgery. A qualified RN (Registered Nurse) is capable of administering preventive, promotive, curative, and rehabilitative services to patients and communities at large.

Diploma in GNM Course

Nursing is the specialty of dealing with the sick and maternity care, as a profession, is about provision of help to a mother during pregnancyThe course essentially aims to produce qualified and trained General Nurses, who can effectively work as part of the medical community, for initial-level positions in the healing industry.

Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery or GNM course is a 3 to 4-year diploma in paramedics. Nursing and Midwifery focuses provision of care to individuals, families, and communities.The course can be pursued after successful completion of the 10+2 level of education in the Science stream from a recognized educational Board, with a minimum aggregate score of 40%.

GNM nursing course usually involves the compulsory completion of a 6-month internship in the discipline as well. This professional, job-oriented course in education lasts 3 to 4 years, with the duration varying across institutes. The course may also be availed of on part-time basis in certain institutes of the country.
